A wonderful treatment, reflexology is excellent to treat specific problems or simply to help you to relax and maintain good health and well-being. Reflexology is thought to have originated in China some five to six thousand years ago having its roots in pressure therapies such as acupressure, acupuncture and shiatsu. In its modern form, it involves the practitioner working the reflex points in your feet (or the hands, or even the ears!) to encourage and enhance the body’s own amazing healing power. Having a treatment is incredibly relaxing, allowing you time to focus your thoughts and rekindle your energy thus enhancing the ability of both body and mind to heal. What can you treat with reflexology? It is important to say at the outset that reflexology is a complementary therapy. It must never take the place of medical advice from your doctor or prescribed medication. In the case of certain very serious conditions and illnesses, you may be asked to seek your doctor’s advice or permission prior to any treatment. The symptoms of many common problems are relieved by reflexology and your body’s ability to cope and recover is enhanced. A few examples are: ♥ Stress & Anxiety ♥ Migraine & Headaches ♥ Menstrual & Menopausal Problems ♥ Arthritis, Rheumatism etc ♥ Muscular & Joint Pain ♥ Insomnia ♥ High Blood Pressure ♥ Tiredness, Lack of Energy & Motivation ♥ General Relaxation & Maintenance of Good Health and Well-being |
